2010 Schedule & Fares

Stay an hour, or stay a day!
Your fare is good on all streetcars for the entire day.
Cars run frequently throughout the day.
The first car of the day departs at 10:30AM.
Last car departs at 4:30PM.
The museum grounds are open 1/2 hour prior to the first car and 1/2 hour after the last car.

Children 2-15 $4
Adults $8
Seniors $6
Student/Educator * $6
Family Package: Up to 2 adults and unlimited children from same household: $24
*Student and Educator discount: Students and educators may present their current, valid, school ID for discounted individual admission.
NOTE: Higher fares apply during certain special event days.

Regular Operations Ride the trolley! The museum operates its regular public program (see timetable at top of this page) on Sundays in April, Saturdays and Sundays in May, daily Memorial Day through Labor Day, Saturdays and Sundays in September and October plus Columbus Day, the first weekend in November, Saturdays and Sundays November 27 through December 19.
MEMBERS DAY
(4/24)
Our annual open house for museum members and their guests. Enjoy supervised guest operation of equipment, rides and photo ops of vehicles not normally operated for the general public. Catered luncheon (reservations required) or bring your own. 10 AM until dark.
MOTHERS DAY
(5/9)
Mom rides free (one free guest per accompanying paid admission)
RT/GUESTOP
(5/1, 5/2, 6/5, 6/6, 7/3, 7/4, 8/7, 8/8, 9/4, 9/5)
The Guest Operator program is featured on these weekends. After a short training session, you will get to run a trolley or rapid transit car! Reservations are strongly suggested to participate in the program. In addition, selected New York City Subway and Elevated equipment will be operated on the line, for the general public. There are two scheduled trips per day, at 12:30 and 2:30. The extra fare for this event is one nickel, payable at the 1923 IRT turnstile.
ANTIQUE AUTOS

The Antique Automobile Festival was a big hit during its 2009 debut. Where else can one see a model-T and a trolley car side-by-side, both in operating condition? Food, music and other surprises too! Trolley rides and tours throughout the day. Regular fare. Auto show runs 9AM - 3PM. See event page to enter your auto.

WORKING ON R.R.
(6/26)
A Pageant of Railway Work equipment will be displayed and operated. These cars were rarely seen by the riding public. Take part in live, hands-on demonstrations (at 11:30 and 2:00) of how we work on our railroad! Regular fare.
GRANDPARENTS DAY

Grandparents ride free (one free guest per accompanying paid admission)
HAUNTED ISLE
(10/1, 10/2, 10/8, 10/9, 10/15, 10/16, 10/22, 10/23, 10/29, 10/30)
The haunted Graveyard Express trolley will take you to the haunted isle, for a terrifying walk through the dark wooded trail. The haunted isle was the break-out hit of the 2009 season. This year its even bigger and scarier. First ride at sunset, last ride 10:00 PM sharp.Fare: $10 per person, $8 in costume
PUMPKIN PATCH
(10/16, 10/17, 10/23, 10/24)
Take the trolley to the pumpkin patch, where children select their own little pumpkin to decorate. Coloring pages, toy train layouts, refreshments, and more! (last ride to the Pumpkin Patch leaves at 4:00 PM) Fare: $8 Adults, $6 Seniors, $5 Children
SANTA
(11/27, 11/28, 12/4, 12/5, 12/11, 12/12, 12/18, 12/19)
Every child visits Santa in his North Pole Trolley and takes home a free coloring book. While there, enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and other refreshments. Toy train layouts will also be operating. Fare: $8 Adults, $6 Seniors, $5 Children
NIGHT LIGHTS
(11/26, 11/27, 12/3, 12/4, 12/10, 12/11, 12/17, 12/18)
Enjoy a cozy night-time ride in our trolley car (heated by Direct Current electricity!) and see the illuminated cars and displays along the line. First night ride at 6PM, last car leaves at 9PM. (No Santa at this night event. Day-time tickets do not apply). Regular fare
